This trek sometimes called the Makalu-Mera Ice Traverse. We will start trek from Tumlingtar flight, walk to the basecamp of Makalu, cross Sherpani East Col (6135 meters ) and West Col ( 6143 m) with an optional climb to Mera peak (6461 m).
This trek is possible on organized camping basis only. We would supply you all logistic support and services from Kathmandu.
Arrive to Kathmandu, an exciting and memorable experience with the panoramic view of snow-capped Himalayan range greets your sight. On your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be received by representative of Independent Himalayan Adventure and arrive to your Hotel, Welcome drink serve. We will then have a small briefing about the entire trip.
Kathmandu is the historical and cultural heart of Nepal and has been a popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors. The city presents a wonderful mix of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and Western influence in the Valley. Patan and Bhaktapur, its two major neighboring cities bear immense historical, cultural and religious significances. There will be a half day guided tour to the famous places Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath and Swoyambhunath.
