Day 01 - Arrive Kathmandu

On your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be received by representative of Independent Himalayan Adventure and transferred to your Hotel. Short briefing and final procedure about the entire trip.

Rest of the day is free for individual activities and shopping.
Evening, transfer to a typical Nepalese Restaurant for dinner with culture show.
On night at Hotel.

Day 02 - Full day Sightseeing inside Kathmandu Valley

Morning: Half day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city and Swayambhunath.
Afternoon: Visit to Patan City and Tibetan Handicraft's Centre.
Overnight: Hotel.

KATHMANDU CITY
Known as Kantipur, the capital of the Kingdom of Nepal. Here you will visit the temple of the Living Goddess who acknowledges the greetings of the devotees from the balcony of her temple residence. Kashtamandap - the source of the name Kathmandu and supposed to be made from the timber of a single tree and the Durbar Square are with its array of temples overlooked by the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, the ancient place of the Nepalese Royalty.

SWOYAMBHUNATH
Located approximately 4 kms./2.5 miles, this Buddhist Stupa is said to be 2000 years old. The Stupa which forms the main structure is composed of a solid hemisphere of brick and earth supporting a lofty conical spire capped by a pinnacle of copper gilt. Painted on the four sided base of the spire are the all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. This hill is a mosaic of small Chaityas and Pagoda temples.

PATAN CITY
5 Kilometers/3 miles away from Kathmandu City. Patan also known as Lalitpur, is the city of fine arts, enclosed within 4 stupas said to be built in 3rd century AD, by Emperor Ashoka. You will see the Durbar square; the Krishna Temple built by Kind Siddhi Narsingh Malla, Hiranya Varna Mabavihar and MahadouddhaTemple.
A trip to The Tibetan Refugee Camp and the Handicraft Center will also be done while visiting Patan, where you will witness the hand weaving of Tibetan carpets and mounding of metal statues.

Day 03 - Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park

A scenic countryside drive of 5 hours takes you to Chitwan. Arrive Chitwan, meeting and assistance by the representative and transfer to your Hotel. Upon arrival refreshing and briefing about the facilities & jungle activities by the naturalist.
Lunch, dinner and overnight at Hotel/Resort.

CHITWANThe Chitwan National Park is the lush valley of Chitwan situated in the foothills of Churia ranges which houses the first National Park of the Kingdom. This National Park is famous for its variety of wildlife especially the Great Indian One Horned Rhinoceros and the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger.
At present, there are seven Wildlife Lodges/Camps operating safari style lodges within the park area and offers elephant excursions in the heart of the jungle to view the games. Details of the popular Lodges and their activities are appended below. An excursion to Chitwan National Park is possible only from October to May and can be reached both by air and surface.
Pick-up by Landrover from airport to the Resort. Upon arrival, there will be a short briefing on the programme and facilities. Thereafter, rooms will be assigned and lunch will be provided.

Day 04 - Full day Chitwan activities

After breakfast full day jungle activities as per the Hotel/Resort program. Lunch and Dinner at Lodge.Full day Chitwan activities including: Canoeing on the Rapti River to See Crocodiles, Elephant Jungle Safari, Jeep Driving and Jungle walk, Bird watching. Evening Tharu (ethnic) culture dance.
Overnight at Hotel/Resort

Day 05 - Chitwan to Pokhara

Early morning, some jungle activities and after breakfast, pick up to drive to Pokhara.
Aarrive Pokhara and transfer to Hotel. After check-in at hotel, leave for ½ day sightseeing tour of Pokhara City including 1 hour boating at Phewa Lake.
Overnight at Hotel.

POKHARA
The rare combination of snow clad peaks, snow fed lakes and rivers has helped to make the Valley of Pokhara (210 km./131 miles from Kathmandu) one of the most picturesque natural attractions in the country.

Day 06 - Pokhara to Kathmandu

This day you either back to Kathmandu (by Bus or flight). Free Shopping day in Kathmandu.

Day 07 - Departure from Kathmandu.

If you did not finished your shopping previously, you can do some moring shopping.
You will then transferred to the International airport with Independent Himalayan Adventure's representative for for onward journey.
