Nepal having 1310 magnificent pinnacles and peaks over 6,000 meters offers joy of mountaineering which can be combined with the pleasure of trekking. Independent Himalayan Adventure organizes peak climbing on all the major trekking peaks in Nepal under the expert management of Experienced Climbing Guides.
Peak climbing is a popular and the most challenging in this Himalayan country as such adventure is almost impossible to find anywhere in the world. Peak climbing became famous following the successful ascend of Mt. Everest by Tenzing Norgey Sherpa and Sir Edmund Hilary on May 29, 1953. Nepal is the home of the eight highest peaks above 8,000 meters (among the top 14 in the world), which are: Everest (8,848m), Kanchenjunga (8586m), Lhotse (8516m), Makalu (8463m), Cho Oyu (8201m), Dhaulagiri (8167m), Manaslu (8163m) and Annapurna (8091m). Similarly, Nepal has more than 1,300 mountains above 6,000 meters which offer mountaineering or peak climbing fun. Most of them are open for the purpose of climbing and organizing any kinds of adventures sports, including trekking.
Pharilapcha peak an altitudes of 6017 meters/ 19741 feet; is beautiful and technical difficult peak with 40 meters rock climbing. The peak rises from yak pastures above the village in a uniform slope to the final summit pyramid which is an undistinguished snow and ice slope. The peak looked a little more interesting from Ongre and can been seen as a curved ridge, with the face above Pisang being the truncated southern end of the mountain.
This peak was first successful climbed by Marcelo Rey Belo (Brasil), Juliana N. Bechara Belo (Brasil), Viktor Groselj (Slovenia) , Rafael Vodisek (Slovenia) , Vladimir Mesaric (Croatia) , Stipe Bozic (Croatia), Josko Bozic (Croatia) , Vladimir Shataev (Russia), Isrofil Ashurly (Russia), Valentine Grakovithch (Russia) and Sherpa Team in 2003 from the convenient center Machermo base.
We are very thankful to Mr. Marcelo Belo and Ms Juliana Belo from Brazil for their valuable contribution by giving us their original photographs. We are very lucky to decorate our Gallary of Pharilapcha Peak from your original photos.
It's a very beautiful with a spectacular view of the chain of Hiamnlaya.
The hardest part is the rock wall. I'm sending you some photos (they are in low resolution, but if I need to find my original files). If you need any specific information just write me.
Big hug from Brazil,
