Ama Dablam and Mt. Pumori Expedition - 50 days

Ama Dablam / alternatively known as Amai Dablang is a small snow-capped and great challenged peak of 6812 meters, considered the most beautiful mountain in Everest region Nepal. A great introduction to climbing at altitude; it offers exposed climbing from all sides and a terrific view from the summit. The normal route to climb mount Ama Dablam is from its South- West ridge. Most of the mountaineering beginners start their climbing through this Mountain. This South - West ridge is the normal and most popular route to ascend the Mt. Ama Dablam. Our previous expedition to this peak made base camp at 4770 meters, camp 1 at 5800 meters, camp 2 at 6075meters, camp 3 at 6400 meters and then summit with great success.

The majority of the route is fixed with rope to allow safe passage and tents will be placed in the camps by the Sherpa climbing team. This allows you the greatest chance of success and makes sure the whole experience stays fun. First Ascent to Ama Dablam was with Leader: Edmund Hillary on 13 march 1961 and successful summiters were Barry Bishop, Michael Gill, WS Romanes, Michael Ward.

Mt. Pumori 7161 meters; is generally considered to be technically challenging and requires climbers to be experienced as well as in faultless physical condition. For one such climber this mountain could become the most rewarding challenger in the Himalaya

The Base Camp is at an altitude of 3500 meters while the advanced camp is established at an altitude of 5900 meters. This stunning peak lies in the Upper Khumbu region and is situated among some of the world's best-known mountains and most spectacular scenery. Pumori is a fantastic mountaineering objective; the peak straddles the Nepalese-Tibetan border, allowing a view of the great contrast between the arid Tibetan Plateau to the north and west, and the white snow covered peaks of Nepal to the south and east

The trip is best suited for strong, experienced climbers who want to climb the peak in its own right, or to gain experience for climbing higher peaks in the future.
