Lying the north of Annapurna and Manaslu and south of Tibet boarder; Himlung Himal (7126 meters / 23379 feet) is one of the infrequently visited mountains of Nepal. Majestically situated above the village of Phu in the western region of Nepal that was open only in 1992 by the Nepalese government and ever since then only few expedition and trekking trips has been carried out to this region.
After few hours drive to Beshishahar from Kathmandu, our trek commences from the classic Annapurna circuit route till Koto and then leaves towards the route Dharmasala, then to villages; Kyang, Phugaon where we spend one day extra for proper acclimatization and local exploration. We set up the Base Camp at 4842 m on a grassy land. While our strong team of sherpas staffs set up various camps, members have the chance to going up and down for well acclimatization and we attempt to summit on a favorable day for everyone.
Arrive to Kathmandu, an exciting and memorable experience with the panoramic view of snow-capped Himalayan range greets your sight. On your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be received by representative of Independent Himalayan Adventure and arrive to your Hotel, Welcome drink serve. We will then have a small briefing about the entire trip.
Kathmandu is the historical and cultural heart of Nepal and has been a popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors. The city presents a wonderful mix of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and Western influence in the Valley. Patan and Bhaktapur, its two major neighboring cities bear immense historical, cultural and religious significances. There will be a half day guided tour to the famous places Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath and Swoyambhunath.
We would obtain permit on this day. Group Leader is necessary with Official person this day.
We drive along the Kathmandu-Pokhara Highway to Dumre and then follow the rough road by the Marsyangdi River to Besi Sahar. [drive approx 6 hours] We start our first day's short trek from Beshisahar, turning right at the canal on the outskirts of the village and descending the narrow path to the Pam Khola. We then cross the stream and climb to the village of Denauti with its striking red-walled houses. From here we descend to the banks of the Marshyangdi Khola and then follow the trail through rice paddies and subtropical forests to the Gurungs village of Khudi, our first night stop.
we pass a school and a forest nursery as the trail continues northwards up the Marsyangdi Valley. After crossing a suspension bridge at Bhulbule, the trail passes a cascading waterfall and as we traverse the rice terraces the views of Manaslu are magnificent. Following a gentle incline we come to the village of Ngadi with its shops and teahouses. From here, the trail continues to ascend towards Bahundanda. Bahundanda literally means "Hill of the Brahmins" and it is the most northerly Brahmin settlement in the Marsyangdi Valley. It is situated on a long ridge and we camp in terraced fields near the village. [walk approx 4 hours]

First Camp to Dharmashala 3230 meters
Dharmashala to Junam Goth 3600 meters
Junam Goth to Phu Gaon. A tibeto-Nepalese village. 4180 meters
Rest day at to Phu Gaon. A tibeto-Nepalese village. 4180 meters
Phu Gaon to Base Camp 5000 meters
Setup/ Fix Base Camp 5000 meters
Climbing period- Himlung Himal (7126 meters)
Camp 1, 5.950 meter; Camp 2, 6.450 meter
After Successful summit. Clean Base Camp well. and Packing day.

After breakfast; morning is free for shopping or individual activities. Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu for Final Departure.
